The purpose of the event: The sweet sweat color run is an annual 5K race hosted by the Gamma Iota chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. This event is designed to spread awareness of diabetes in America as well serve as a fundraiser for the American Diabetes Association. Participants will be showered in colors and then lead down a 5k long course around Hampton University's campus. Participants will have the option to run/walk as a single or with a team, and there will be volunteers along the entire course. Upon reaching the finish line there will be refreshments served and a DJ to celebrate a successful completion of the course!
